Had a very good night.
And a surprise in the morning.
Those who know I love chimney pots
will understand why. LOL!
As last year the parade was cancelled
people arrived in very large numbers.
Covid is a huge issue,
so I took a place outside the crowd.
Couldn't see much,
but I was there.
Heard the music.
And in a way was more aware
why I was there.
I will bring something of dad
to the cemetery near Wolverhampton
Where he visited with Cathy
her brother's memorial.
And I hope more of my kids will be present
when I place a cross.
Now there were too many people.
The details of the tower
are caught on camera
thanks to a befriended bobby
who kept people from bumping against me.
Thanks T!
And some quiet on the streets to be yourself.
Had a nice talk when I bought a keyring,
promised to be back next year,
and got it half prize,
with the nicest goodbye I could wish.
The - decorated - Strand.
Nicer with the sun on it than on a photo.
A greeting from a friend...
and then..
The Maple Leaf
and the men...
All have many stories to tell.
A few moments away to another part of
Covent Garden to say a quick 'Hello.
Covent Garden to say a quick 'Hello.
.
And even more....
When I walked out
I felt like I'd been visiting
I felt like I'd been visiting
my own christmas.
We had our coffee in the lounge,
had a good talk,
and even sang
"We'll meet again"
with two singers.
And then it was time to go.
Thank you so very, very much, P!!
So good to see you,
had a good talk,
and even sang
"We'll meet again"
with two singers.
And then it was time to go.
Thank you so very, very much, P!!
So good to see you,
to see the others.
What a wonderful time!!
